Turkish cliff sage

Salvia recognita

Turkish Cliff Sage charms with tall, but delicate spikes of soft pink flowers and fuzzy grey-green leaves. Long blooming plants can often be short-lived so be sure to let this one reseed. As the common name implies, this plant is native to the lightly shaded cliff bases of Central Turkey. It requires well-drained soil and is an excellent option for the xeric garden.
