Sisyrinchium macrocarpum | Argentinian blue-eyed grass

This sisyrinchium from Argentina has exceptional large, deep yellow flowers that appear in profusion over the summer months. They perfectly complement the short, strappy, glaucous grey foliage. Funky seed pods lend an additional element of interest as the season progresses.   

Easy to grow on moist but well drained soil in full sun to part shade. This plant is not drought tolerant and should not be allowed to dry out.
