Alcea rosea plena 'Chaters Chamois'

Alcea rosea plena 'Chaters Chamois'

Hollyhocks are a classic English cottage garden plant. They add architectural height to borders and bloom for months on end. Most are grown as biennials or short-lived perennials due to their susceptibility to rust and fungal diseases. We love them anyway and would not be without them. Grow in fertile, moist-but-well-drained soil in full sun for best results. Will self-sow.

Saucer-shaped double blossoms in a light-peachy apricot color make 'Chaters Chamois' truly unique. Provide a nice top-dressing of compost after planting for best blooms.

WARNING: Sap or juice may cause skin irritation.
