Panicum virgatum 'Blue Giants' | blue switch grass

Blue Switch Grass is a ridiculously hardy, ridiculously tough US native grass that can be found growing anywhere from the most elegant garden to the side of the road. Arching blue-green leaves are attractive, but the real show comes when the airy pink flower panicles appear in late summer.

'Blue Giants' has greenish blue flower spikes and forms variable, impressive foliage clumps.
