Melissa officinalis 'Quedlinburger' | lemon balm

This plant will not be available in 2026, however, propagation is planned/underway. Please sign up for the waitlist below to receive updates on availability in future years.

Lemon balm is a thuggish mint relative. Most are not terribly ornamental but have great value in the herb garden. 'Quedlinburger' was developed by commercial growers in Denmark. It is very productive and has higher essential oil content than common lemon balm.

Extraordinarily easy to grow in full sun or part shade on average to dry soil. It grows more upright than other varieties, but it is still quick to run. Don't plant it next to precious plants.
