Erysimum cheiri 'Vulcan' | wallflower

This plant will not be available in 2026, however, propagation is planned/underway. Please sign up for the waitlist below to receive updates on availability in future years.

Wallflowers (Erysimum cheiri) are short-lived, evergreen perennials with masses of spring blooms and enchanting scent. Most wallflowers are grown as biennials, but they can persist for an extra year or so in perfect conditions. They are happiest in poor to average, well-drained soil in full sun.

'Vulcan' is an old-fashioned, compact, bushy variety with dark red, velvety spring flowers. The sweet clove fragrance is exactly what one expects from a wallflower.
