Marsh rattlesnakemaster is native to wetlands and bogs throughout the eastern US. It is rarely seen commercially, but we love it for its ability to grow almost anywhere - from ponds to regular garden soil. This tough plant can even handle drought once established! The spiky silvery blue flowers bloom all summer and persist on the plant through winter, providing food for hungry birds.
