Requin's Bee Delphinium

Delphinium requienii

This biennial Delphinium from southern France is a rare beauty. Tall, wooly stems hold mauve-purple flowers above a glossy green rosette of foliage in spring.

Hudson Valley gardeners: this plant is not hardy here. Luckily, our fall sown plants will bloom and set seed in their first year, guaranteeing a steady supply in the garden.
