There are nearly 2,000 species of grass-like sedges. The species we grow are either highly ornamental or valuable to native landscapes.

Drooping sedge is native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa where it can be found growing along woodlands, hedges, and streamsides. This large, evergreen, perennial is the most elegant of the sedges with cascading, dark green leaves and arching blooms that initially resemble willow catkins.
