Campanula sarmatica
Georgian bellflower is endangered in its native habitat (the Caucus Mountains) and is rarely encountered in the trade. Large, velvety lavender-blue flowers emerge above a rosette of slightly ruffled downy leaves in June or July (weather dependent). This plant is easy to grow and looks just as lovely in the border as it does in the rock garden. Rabbit resistant.
