A must in any natural landscape. All yarrow (Achillea spp.) are deer resistant, drought tolerant, and attractive to butterflies and other pollinators.

Yarrow are easy growing plants. All enjoy full sun and most enjoy average, well-drained soil. Wooly yarrow (A. tomentosa) is best grown in the rock garden. Pearly yarrow (A. ptarmica) appreciates a bit more moisture.
