Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra 'Bleeding Hearts'
Here is a rarely seen, yet useful daisy for the late summer garden. Blooms emerge fire red before fading to orange-red then turning finally to bronze. Plants exhibit dark purple leaves, black stems, and a sturdy habit. They are exceptionally easy to grow in almost any soil in full sun and do not require staking.
