Rabbit's Foot Willow has some of the largest catkins of any member of the genus. The rabbit-foot-size fuzzy, silvery-white catkins appear in late winter and are a delight to children and adults alike. It is a lovely shrub that can grow into a small tree with time, but we coppice ours to the ground every year to promote the production of catkins and recommend that you do the same. Green leaves with silky, silvery undersides remain attractive through summer. Deer resistant.
