There are hundreds of species of Alchemilla, many are indistinguishable, but Dwarf Lady's Mantle really stands apart as it is very low growing, has reddish-yellow (rather than pure yellow) flowers, reddish stems, and bluish-green (rather than grey-green) foliage. It makes an excellent small-scale ground cover that can be used at the front of the border or in the rockery.

Grow in full sun in cool summer climates, part-shade everywhere else. Cut foliage back when it begins to deteriorate at the end of summer; clean, new foliage will quickly appear.
